MIDI learn 用于把任意 MIDI controller 的某个控件绑定到 Ardour 内任一屏幕上的控件。没有"最佳"映射方式——不同用户偏好不同映射。
- 基本流程：*Edit > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Generic MIDI* 启用 Generic MIDI → 把 Ardour 名为 `control` 的 MIDI port 接到你的设备 → middle-click 屏幕上任意 fader/参数/按钮 → 弹出 "Operate Controller now" 窗口 → 转动旋钮/推子或按键，绑定完成
- 注意：不能用 plugin 自带的 GUI 做 MIDI learn（plugin 拥有自己的 GUI，无法参与 learn 流程）；需使用 "Ardour-owned" 控件：
* mixer strip 中右键 processor element → *Edit with Generic GUI* * 或从 *Controls* 把参数显示为 inline fader * 或在 editor 点 track 的 "A"（automation）按钮，找到参数使其 automation lane 可见
- 取消绑定：middle-click 同一控件，在弹出的窗口中点击 cancel
- 想让 bindings 在所有 session 中自动生效：*Session > Save Template*，新建 session 时选用该 template
