The Transport Menu：控制播放与 playhead。

*Start/Stop*：启动/停止 playhead（armed 时同时开始录音）
Play：*Play Selection*；*Solo Selection*（只播放被选中的 regions——同 track 上未选中的 regions 也不播放）；*Play w/Preroll*（在 selection 前若干 bars/秒开始，量可在 Preferences 设置）
*Start/Continue/Stop*：退出 loop/range play 但不停 transport
*Play from Edit Point and Return*：从 Edit point 播放，停止后回到原位
*Play Loop Range*：播放已定义的 Loop range 并循环
Recording：*Start Recording*；*Stop and Forget Capture*（停止并删除新录内容，回到原位置）；*Enable Record*（global record，下次 Play 时在 armed tracks 上录制）；*Record w/Preroll*；*Record w/Count-In*（playhead 前 2 bars 处开始，count-in 期间 Metronome 会 tick）
*Forward* / *Rewind*：从 playhead 向前/向后播放；已在播放时速度增加 50%
*Transition to Roll* / *Transition to Reverse*：real-time 速度播放
*Set Loop from Selection* / *Set Punch from Selection* / *Set Session Start/End from Selection*
Playhead：*Playhead to Mouse* / *Playhead to Active Mark*；*Center Playhead*（居中但不改变 zoom）
*Nudge Playhead Forward/Backward*（按 nudge timer 量移动）
*Move to Next/Previous Transient*（transients 已设定时）
*Playhead to Next/Previous Grid*（按 Snap/Grid unit）
*Playhead to Next/Previous Region Boundary*（选中 track 上，或所有 tracks）
*Playhead to Next/Previous Region Sync*（region Sync Point）
*Jump to Next/Previous Mark*（ruler markers）；*Jump to Loop Start/End*
*Go to Zero*（00:00:00:00，无视 Start marker）/ *Go to Start* / *Go to End*
*Go to Wall Clock*：playhead 移到当前系统时间（Status bar 右上角显示的值）
Active Mark：*To Next/Previous Region Boundary*；*To Next/Previous Region Sync*——移动当前选中 marker
Markers：*Add Mark from Playhead*；*Remove Mark at Playhead*；*Toggle Mark at Playhead*；*Locate to Mark n*；*Set Session Start/End from Playhead*
*Trigger Cue A → H*：起播并触发 Cue grid 对应行
*□ Time Master*：Ardour 作为 Time master（向 audio system 发送 time 信息）
*□ Punch In/Out*：只录制在 punch in/out markers 之间（单独 *□ Punch In* / *□ Punch Out* 亦可）
*□ Auto Input*：播放时 monitor 自动从 input 切到 playback
*□ Follow Range*：select range 时 playhead 跳到其起点
*□ Auto Play*：在 ruler 上移动 playhead 即开始播放
*□ Auto Return*：停止播放后 playhead 回到原位置
*□ Click*：启用/停用 Metronome（click track）
*□ Follow Playhead*：播放时 playhead 出右屏时自动向右滚一屏
*□ Stationary Playhead*：配合 Follow Playhead——playhead 固定于屏幕中央，session 滚动
*□ Use External Positional Sync Source*：允许外部程序控制 Ardour 的位置
*Panic (Send MIDI all-notes-off)*：立即停止所有 MIDI 播放
